I'm glad we found a use for it, even if we didn't find THE use for it.

The tool is used to remove the drive pad from the base of our Clark Super 7 floor sanding "edgers". Without this "tool", most people wedge a screwdriver into the cooling fan above the armature and use another screwdriver and a hammer on the pad to spin and relase it from the shaft. This is a bad idea, especially since the edger costs $3500 to replace. I have fired more people than I can count who abuse my tools. Tools are a huge investment in this business and nothing pisses me off more than someone treating my equipment like a rental.
