Will the GMT800 2wd 10 bolt rear end bolt up in an 87 K5 Blazer?

Mounts and spring perches will need to be cut off and have new ones welded in in the correct locations.

I'll agree with both above comments. Yep, gotta move the mounting pads, and it's not worth it for another 10 bolt.
They're a bit harder to find, but there is such thing as a Light duty 3/4 ton rear axle that's 6 lug if you want to keep the same front axle. It's a GMT400 series truck and is a 9.5 Semi Float rear axle.

Thanks for the info. I have a GMT800 10 bolt from my personal truck that is recently rebuilt and 4.10 geared. Plus it has disc brakes. Was trying to decide if i want to sell or keep it

Im good on a welding machine. Where can i source new perches? If its cheap i may consider it. Had it up for sale over the winter and no bites.

Be careful & precise when torching or plasma removing the perches & you'll ll be able to re-use them. Be advised that the width of the rear is wider as well.

Perches and mounts can be bought from numerous sources. Barnes4wd, summit, jegs, your local auto parts might carry the spring perches.
