Do think my revived location for the cruise cable will be better than what I first had ..

Took two ordered parts to make up this linkage ..
Edelbrock (8018) Trans kickdown stud for GM TH-350 transmission and Moroso (64920) Bushing kit, which is still in transit ..
Tracking said Tuesday ...

Yeah, this looks a bit better than before, and according to TJ (Dakota Digital service tech) will work as fine as Brandy Wine !!

That is cool!
With the mods I have done to it, not so sure it's still at the bottom of the line anymore ? ... Might have moved up a notch or two ..

This is a great thread!

What brand is the rearview mirror, dual? And how happy are you with it?
Thanks!
Thanks Bennyl ..

This on going project is keeping me out of the ti*y bars ...

The peek mirrors have built in turn signals and are about as useful as ti*s on a bull for seeing what's going on behind ya ...

That's why the smart rearview mirror was installed ..
Made by FHD ...
Has front and rear cameras, grid lines in the reverse mode and GPS ..

Found a mount that is glued to the windshield for it, my truck never had a inside the cab rearview mirror ...

There was other smart mirrors on the market with many more features than the one I chose ... But I didn't see the need for them ..

Few of them even had built in "On Star" !!

Needed to nail on a coolant sensor for the electric fan controller ..
The controller will be mounted to the passenger side inner fender..
On the cly. head was a pipe plug .. Perfect place for the sensor ..

But the dang thing wasn't about to break loose, two days went down with heating it up, WD-40 and many words that would make a Preacher blush .. !!

Drilled a hole in it for using a easy-out, still it said 'I'm not going anywhere' ...

At this point I went ahead with drilling it to cut in new 1/2" NPT threads ...

What should had been a 10 minute job turned into a two day ordeal !

Pressure checked the coolant system at 19 lbs which is the radiator's cap pop off point ..

... No Leaks ...

Not going to worry about the ugly on this side of the wall ..
It will see POR-15 and the pad ..

The other side will see a bunch of work yet to do ...
Should be super smooth went done ..

Going to wait for a warm day for doing that work, right now it's as cold as a well digger's ass here in the Sunshine State ..
