Good progress. You going to run support rods to the radiator mount? What about where hood and body meet, what are you going to do there as far as bumpers or protection where they meet? What are you going to use for latches?

Yeah I'm going to run rods like you would see on an old roadster to the radiator. As far as bumpers the weatherstripping is so thick at the hood nothing else is necessary. I have to push it down with my hand as it is. No latch. Im going to make dowel pin in the cut and an electric actuator. These actuator have a push/pull force. The torque will be based on how large I can make the lift arm and how much money I can spend the the actuator.

I'm not real happy with how the back is lining up so I'm cheating it is nothing a little foam and fiberglass won't fix.
