I'm basing my statement off the motor specs I found online. The 105hp and 295 ft lb tq. Still impressive for a 4cyl motor. With that much torque, you'd think it would perform about equal or better than a 250cu in inline 6cyl, but yet get more mpg and last much longer.

The non factory aftercooled is the more common engine running around with those specs. Just for comparison sake I owned a f100 with a 300 straight 6 and a very small one barrel from the factory. It was a single cab truck. It would get about the same mileage. It would accelerate about the same, but 70 was the max. If you went up a hill in Kansas and I see your from Oklahoma so you know what I'm taking about when I say hill, basically an overpass. I would have to floor it and hit the passing gear to keep it at 55. This engine in a suburban will hold 80 without taking it out of overdrive and that was a non overdrive truck.

I cut up my inner fenders and attached half of it to the front. Half to the back.

Hit it with a high build primer. Showing lots of flaws. Lot more sanding, filler, and repriming I see in my future.

I got some pretty cool parts in today and the engine is set in. That's it for me for a few days I'm beat and still have to go to work.

The engine is back in and I had to heavily modify the exhaust manifold or lose the wastegate. I wanted to keep it in case I have any surge issues.
