Hi all,
I was replacing my fuel tank selector switch today in my 1987 R10. I was prying the plug from the back of the switch with a screwdriver. Problem is I was lazy and didn't disconnect the negative battery cable. There was a small zap when the screwdriver touched the contact and the truck turned off. It still turns over strong but won't start. I am not great yet at the multimeter testing so I was wondering if it could be the fuel pump relay? With the dual tanks, will the truck only start if both fuel pump relays are hooked up and working? Could I have fried something else? Any help is appreciated!
