Fuel pump for LS Swap

digging this one up as there's plenty of discussion about EP381. I'm going to be changing the fuel filter and like a knuckle head, I put it in a place that requires taking the bed off. While I'm there...and the issues I'm having, I might as well change the pump as well (tank relocation-burb tank installed).

Anyway, I can't find them. If they are out there, they are well over $140. Any other models that are worth a crap?

Quick search netted several of the local parts stores have them. O Reilly, Car quest, AutoZone. Looks like the average $$ is around $120. Apparently the Union strike is hurting availability. Lol

I'll stop by the stores and see if they can order it. Advance let me put it in the cart for $82 so I'll start there.

If you have everything already, the Walbro pump 343 is $82.. have to call to order; only have kit on website. These are exact replacement for 87' sending unit.

Do yourself a favor and inspect your sock closely. If it has a plastic thing inside, trash it and get a sock with nothing inside. That plastic thing is what I believe ruined at least 3 of my previous pumps. Personally, I'd got Walboro 255. That's what I've had in several of my Mustangs in the past and now have in my truck. Way more piece of mind out of it than Chinese parts store who-knows-where-it-came-from Delco EP381 or Delphi equivalent
