Front End Noise

I am about to go mad trying to find a front end noise. It sounds like a golf ball in a cardboard box when running over bumps or cracks in a road. Left side. Applying brakes doesn’t change anything. Steering changes no difference. Everything is new up front, bushings, ball joints, steering Box, intermediate shaft, the works. This started after I had a so called mechanic run new parts in the wiper system. Stalk, turn signal switch, board and motor. It acts like a loose shock but——they aren’t loose. Nothing appears to be loose anywhere else. . It’s running me nuts.

Thanks, I have checked that as this noise or bump happens as the tire is elevated or bounces over a bump, crack or even a paint line on the highway. Strange.
I am going to jack it up this weekend and check it again.

Aries. I got them off the net from Carid. Direct fit except rear mount needed minor mod.

This may sound strange but look at your frame really close around the steering box some times the frame will crack under the box have someone shake the steering wheel while you lay under it and look at it close do this with the engine off shake it back and forth hard

How do the wipers sound when on?
I wonder if your mechanic dropped a tool in the cowl and left it there.

Thanks for the input. I found the issue.
The upper mount bolt for the left front shock was not totally tight allowing the shoulder to slide slightly sideways when hitting a bump. The result was it bumping against the frame. A couple turns and no noise now.

I am a dinasour of sorts now at 77 trying to keep my truck really top shape. I’ll probably leave it for the granddaughter when I check out.
