Fresh oil

Is it just me or does anyone else, after laying on the ground flat on your back, think that the engine seems to run a little better and smoother following an oil and filter change?? Just wondering.

It sure does run better. I have noticed it.

And I enjoy some concrete time, the flat surface helps reset my back and neck. There will come a day, though, when I won't want to lay on the concrete.

Doesn't happen much today with computer controls but carbed vehicles can have diluted oil from excess fuel. Engine operation may change after a service. Actually, after doing a carb o-haul we needed to do it before sending owner to emissions testing. Could and did fail from dirty/diluted oil alone.

I changed the trans oil on my 2016 6 sp camry and i swear to god it seemed like it shifted smoother haha

I just did a fresh oil change with Mobil 1. Within an hour, my cholesterol went down, my credit score went up, and my wife got better looking.

I agree, any maintenance makes the vehicle a little better. A wash, new belts, oil and filter even new bulbs. Some more than others, I think it's a care thing, most of it in my own mind but also mechanical..
