Ok, cool. Its like mine then. If the plugs are different on the 84 harness, swap and splice the 88 alt plugs to the 84 harness, so you can use the newer alternator, and then continue the 84 wiring down under the engine to the starter relay.

I haven't even begun to touch the wiring on it yet... with the way my schedule at work has been it will probably be another month before I can fire it up...lol 8-( but with evrytime I get to work on it I see it creeping closer to the finish line I get more and more excited... almost got my Bronco owning brother to ditch his heap and get a K5... lmao... he thinks my project is awesome and is itching to come back over and help... lol

Sheesh... I wish it was a little warmer and day light... finally off work and I have to wait for day light... as far as off road trips I have been thinking of trying out some mild local trails

Hey Jim or anyone who can help out... lol does anyone have a wiring diagram for a stand alone tbi efi set up... I've been looking at the wiring harness from the 84 K5 Blazer and other than the ccc plugs it looks pretty simple... still not quite sure how it will connect with the stand alone set up but working on a lot of reading and research... any help with a diagram is much appreciated

Harness is almost off... just have to fish it out from under the fuel lines and I believe one last ground to unbolt there at the back of the engine... thinking it might be easier to take those fuel lines lose and get those out of the way besides I still need to get the front half of the fuel line made and it might be easier to do with them off... lol
