Hello everybody. I thought I would make a post to help people in the future.
I recently triggered a code 32 (EGR). I started getting the SES light at cruising speeds on the hwy everyday. My o2 sensor, egr, icm, and EGR are all new with ACdelco, so I knew that wasn't the problem.
All my tests came back as everything "good". I knew my intake had a small oil leak so I decided to change the gasket and rebuild the TBI. I found the intake manifold gasket had been leaking exhaust gasses into the engine valley (under the manifold) and creating essentially coal.
I put everything back together with new gaskets and the truck runs great and no more code 32.
I hope this helps.
