Just installed a 1200 hp unit on my truck. The temp sensor was a problem with mine. Would read 20 degrees cooler than my guage. Got a new one for a 97 vortec 350 and problem solved. There are some adjustments I had to do to my afr settings to get the surge to stop during cruse and acceleration . Had to make my own adapter so it would mount to my dominator intake. Other than that it's a real tire shreader.

I'm using an aeromotive 340lpg, 90psi fuelpump. I installed it in place of the factory in tank pump. 3/8 supply line and 5/16 return. My truck is a 92 so it was easy to make the change.

Wonder with the in tank pump if you used the Holley hydrants in bottom of the tank, you wouldn't need a baffled tank as it supposed to pick up gas from all angles and surfaces of the tank

I have not been around for a while, but I am back working on my 79' crew cab . Been running it with a 'draw thru carb turbo system', and doing some freshening and up grades . Thing has been parked for so long that I will be installing a set of rebuilt heads, CC'd chambers, clean up surfacing, new valves, new springs and retainers .

These fresh heads will raise the static compression 1/2 point, to aprox. 8.4 to 1 .

Up grades will be a Vortec EFI from a Mercury boat motor, with it's "boat computer", and larger injectors .

Water to water intercooler, Innovate wideband O2 gauge/logger .

I'm lurking here because I bought one of those Fitech 'pump tanks', and I don't think I'll be using it .

I want to run "a return pressure regulator" system, because the fuel flow and pressure react more quickly than a "dead head" system will, and I don't want any LEAN SPOTS while going into boost .

My 79' has a mechanical pump and two tanks, so I want to keep that system operating as it has all these years, and just do a return back to the "small tank" .

Since the Fitech does not have a return, I could return into the line from the block pump to the "small tank", drill and install a return into the "small tank", or just build the whole thing myself, since I won't be using the regulator on the tank either .

Wanting a "return line system" is why I came here to see what results everyone has had so far .

Let me see if I can get some photos up, or the tear down, soon .

Is that 1 big tire on the back? You should do a build thread in the under construction section. As it will be easy to follow. And well I want to keep an eye on this build.

A build thread of your project would be cool and make it easy to follow. I like the whole turbo BB thing. In the pics it looked like a super single. Haven't seen that done yet where an actual rig Super single was used big Mickeys seen that.
