update. car is fixed. the timing was off. according to my friend, the truck was 12 degrees retarted. he advanced it to 2 degrees and its running perfect. heres the picture of how much it was off.You must be registered for see images attach
heres a video of the truck running. as you can see on the command center low pressure gauge is reading lower because i have roughly 4 gallons in the tank. when i fill up the tank, it would read 6-8psi.You must be registered for see images attach
But does that still cause the problem, now that you've fixed the timing?
I bet that if you got a cheap electric pump and installed it lower than the tank or about level with the bottom, that problem would disappear..
Awesome man, glad you figured it out. 2 degrees BTDC doesn't sound like much timing though. Guess it just depends on your cam's profile.
Hell, I'd never buy one of them I'd just make one, and I sure wouldn't use floats they do stick sooner or later, had one bad experience with them that was enough, after that I used a return line no more failures for 20+yrs..Man.. Both of those items are half again the price of the Fuel Commander..

Yeah, look at the pic you can see the float, at that level just put a fitting on the side for a line going back to the tank and that's the highest the tank will fill. Any EFI submersible pump will work. For fittings it's whatever you need for the unit you get, you need in/out and whatever returns the system has, simple deal.. I am a very strong believer in the K.I.S.S. method, mainly because I'm a *******..
