My wife is down in Tuscon Arizona visiting family and took our only working camera. She should be back tomorrow so I can snap some pics, the project is really coming along!

Back to getting them off without taking the fender off then.....

Were you able to salvage the old badges? The body shop cut mine like mentioned with a small part of the tab and I was considering how to do the same when I stumbled upon thi spost.

The paint job was 9 years ago so I imagine it looks like crap long before now!:Big Laugh:

I think you are right I looked up how to solder pegs back in there and it looks brittle. Double sided tape it is.

im not sure ive ever had my fenders off but why is it difficult? ive taken off plenty of fenders on newer rides never gave me much of a fight?

I think they mean the access on the back is hard to get to with it on the 5ruck because they gave retainer nuts? I'm not sure if that's the case, never looked. Just how I interpreted it.
