favorite spark plugs

sorry if this has been posted before, my mechanic whose a ford guy swears by borsh , my truck started running a little rough last night. time for a tune-up what's you favorite plugs/& wires for 77 454? thanks in advance john

Don't use Bosch...Out ignition systems don't seem to like them. I'd just run ordinary AC Delcos.

If it`s a furd then run motorcraft or whatever ford recommends.
If it is a dodge product then run whatever brand of plugs dodge recommends.
If it is a Chevy/GM product then go with the Delco sparking plugs.
Thats all.

Used to be that them AC products was a dealer only item,and the were expensive.
Now the AC Delco products can be purchased from any parts store,heaven forbid,even walmart,and so the pricing has come way down on that stuff,down to the price of the off brands in most cases.

i picked up a set of ac delco today at a farm store on sale $1.88 ea.

Accel
NGK
Denso

Those all work fine with GM HEI. I prefer AC Delco or Accel.
