I like the assumption of non working clock
because lets be real, they dont.

the clock on the right dash? first thing it did when i tried to adjust th time both hands fell off

The clock on my 79 wasn't working when I bought my truck either. I pulled it out, filed the contact points, put some clock oil in it, applied power and tapped the housing a few times lightly with a screwdriver handle and its been running since, over 4 years now. I learned this from an older YouTube video with a guy discussing older GM clocks and how to repair them. You don't have to do much disassembly on the clock itself other than removing the outer cover.

What do you need a tachometer for anyways?

1982 font is what I picked because it's the best match. (One year only?)
The fuel gauge? 1982 Camaro.

did you have to change any senders or whatever or repin to take different gauges? Like, are the ohms and voltages etc consistent in gm gauges?
