...ha, got all of you to look.

Seriously, is anyone in here using the Ferd F250 front shock mounts on your Chevy?

This might actually only appeal to just a few guys in here, but Im looking for some feed back.

Seems like a good diy and want to order this stuff up (front only).

Will do the rear inboard mod afterwards.

Neat mod, I'll be looking into this! I need shocks all the way around anyways.

i had f250 mounts on my old square with extended travel shocks, helps a lot, i would recommend it to anyone, its especially good at stock height increases your flex almost 3 inches... good luck!

Usually when folks install those, they have them mounted ahead of the brake hose (more upright) and a little more material is left on the shock mount. The one in your pic has the entire bottom half lopped off. Still looks like a better setup than stock though.

Yeah, it looks like it allows for a shock that's about 3 inches longer. Every little bit helps.

OK so this project is a go.

Put the duals on CL last week, amont other things. Guy who bought the "kicker" shock mounts now wants my front duals.

Ordered up the new shocks today, should be in Wed. Going from 7.875" to 11.25" Shopped local dealers for the mounts. Fawkers are thieves! Biggest dealership wanted $30 ea! Found another one close asking $17.50...and they were the only guys who had more then 1 in stock anyway. Will be picking those up tomorrow.

Guy is comming over Sun to take the old shocks and I will get on the the install....

Also have the ORD Zero-Rate leaves/blocks to throw in too.

Holy Sheet these things are stout.....

My guess is about 2-3lbs ea.

Will need to chop about 5" or so off the bottom and will secure them to the frame with 3 bolts......

What kinda pricing are you guys getting on these? I'm a Ford parts manager, and may be able to match pricing, and my UPS prices are cheap too...

Your local Ferd dealer, ORD, eBay.....

Call around though, pricing in Phoenix was $30-$17 per. Like $45 for the set from ORD.
