I’ve misplaced my measurements for placement of the rear GMC Badge that goes on the tailgate trim panel. Does anyone have a factory Badge or panel that has the emblem and can give me an exact measurement from left side of panel to left side of Badge ? Thanks !

Just FYI, if you're putting a stock emblem on, there should be holes on the back side of that panel for drilling the location of the pins.

Thanks Zach, I’ve mounted a few of the Stock Emblems. The gasket doubles as a template for hole locations.

Good deal. Didn’t know if you knew or not, it always surprises me how many people haven’t looked at the back of these and don’t know the holes are there

Yeah the access holes are there for mounting, but they could do a better job when they stamp them. The far left peg of the Emblem is exposed. But the 2 access holes in the panel are offset and not quite in the correct location, But still able to angle the nut driver for securing the speed nuts. This latest one I purchased from Classic Body Parts is the best one so far. Some have been so far off I’ve had to enlarge the access holes.
