I have a 1866 (oops 1986) C20 with a 454. It has an Edelbrock 750. The engine starts up every time. It seems to have plenty of power. However, sometimes the engine will lose power, then recover. Does anyone have any suggestions on what would cause this problem?

Good catch lol 1986 not 1886. Thanks for your suggestions. My first thing to focus on is bad fuel.
