Searched for old threads on factory engine oil cooler hoses-found one from 2012. Poster did not
find an answer.
It's been 9 yrs. Anybody ever find a source for these hoses? Dorman only sells one of them.
(625-617). I need the (625-616) also. Same goes for LMC. I need both hoses. I know I'm not the only one with a factory engine oil cooler!!
I have searched the net-no luck.

What engine?
What oil filter adapter do you have?

You're taking about the ones that go to radiator? I have two prebent ones my neighbor gave me but, for now I have rubber hoses on it. If you can't find them you might have to bend your own.

The shop was gonna charge 300 to bend them for me. So I went with the rubber hose for now to save some money and will fix later.

I just replaced the ones on my truck, but I have a 454. Not sure what's different except for maybe length and I know mine go through the engine crossmember. I have this style cooler on my K30.

Dorman 625-131 Lower hose (Inlet)

Dorman 625-132 Upper hose (Outlet)

does he 87 use the small sandwich between filter and the engine, thus needing a short filter unless one were to have the safe clearance for a longer, decided to remote the filter, or had it 90 degree off the sandiwched adapter i reference?

Thanks BillK and AuroraGirl. That looks like my oil filter adapter and oil cooler. The (2) Dorman hoses are
for 4WD-won't work. I called LMC to have them measure the one line they sell.
They replied this morning- the line is P/N: 32-1860 and is 39" to the 90 degree bend and 3.5" from the 90 to the end of the tube. I will be removing my old lines this week end and will measure them. Looking at them
as installed, they look to be about the same length. If so, I will buy (2) of the LMC lines.
I'll post my findings. Thanks guys!!!

I have never had good luck with Dorman hoses, whether for a 6.5TD. 6.2NA, or a BBC. I ended up using AN fittings and braided stainless hose. Your results may differ.

Thanks Rickf. Yep, many people think I'm weird for wanting to keep my vehicles(trucks//cycles) as close to
original as possible. However!!!!! that being said, going for the AN braided hose and anodized fittings
is looking pretty good right now. I have been in aviation for 56yrs. and I'm very familiar with AN
hose/fittings. Great suggestion Rick-plus the braided hose install would look really good!

Yes! If I go that way I will make sure NO DORMAN. I would not want an oil line to blow or even leak.

What kind of Pressures does the oil cooler loop see(from the filter adapter, its adjustable i think too) if its sub 50 I would look at using the lines you have and chop the rubber off and flare and put a new hose in spots where its bad and use fuel injection clamps.

Also, i dont know what the line looks like, if its mostly a hard line then a rubber at the cooler, the 4wd prob wont work because of where the engine sits relative to the 2wd. 4wd sits lower i believe, so if its hard line most the way, you would just have issue getting it from the driveline mounting. but if you have a section where, in the middle, you could chop a rubber bit off and put a longer, you could make work. also 2wd usually have shorter filters OE maybe a diff adapter>?
i know the adapter is the same as big block

I just recently took my old hoses to a Pirtek hose repair business and they re-used the old metal sections and put in new rubber and crimp ferrels to make me a new set just like to originals. $65 each hose.
