the (6) is california equipped vehicles. These acronyms are all the emissions systems you must have. 5 and 7 can be ignored. But yours likely has "FR" which is fuel pipe restrictor. a heavy duty wouldnt have one , likely. That would be the small opening inside under gas cap to only let a gas nozzle and not a diesel or leaded gas nozzle

the (6) is california equipped vehicles. These acronyms are all the emissions systems you must have. 5 and 7 can be ignored. But yours likely has "FR" which is fuel pipe restrictor. a heavy duty wouldnt have one , likely. That would be the small opening inside under gas cap to only let a gas nozzle and not a diesel or leaded gas nozzle

I was not able to find the detail I was looking for in the '84 generic info packet, but I found it in the '83 packet. I don't recall that there was any difference for '82 through '86 so it should be appropriate. I also checked the '85 information and it was the same as '83.

Here's the SPID. sorry it's not very clear. It was on the left inner fender. Anyways, who or where do I check with to find out if it came with all the emissions garbage?

Totally off topic, but I see it came with load range D front tires and load range E rear tires, and no spare.

Been a while since I've seen one with different tires front to rear.

There was another member on here that needed the stickers on the air cleaner because the truck wouldn't pass without the stickers.

You've reminded me of something: for LD emissions the TRUCK is what gets certified, so the emissions/tune up label goes on the rad support.

You've reminded me of something: for LD emissions the TRUCK is what gets certified, so the emissions/tune up label goes on the rad support.

For HD emissions the ENGINE is what gets certified, so the emissions/tune up label goes on the engine air cleaner.

Totally off topic, but I see it came with load range D front tires and load range E rear tires, and no spare.

Been a while since I've seen one with different tires front to rear.

According to the info packet the LT 235 is the base tire with C6P.

I can say for sure "no cats" due to the 8600 GVW. The truck would include PCV, EFE, ECS, TRC, CHA, AIR and TVSS.
