My 87 has dual tanks and I am replacing the bedsides and the new one has only one filler. I will be eliminating the driver side fuel tank.

What will I need to do to do this beyond the simple removal of the tank? I am guessing there will have to do something with the selector? Remove the fuel lines to the driver side?

If this has been discussed to death if someone could just share links to those threads I would appreciate it. I couldn't find them in a simple search.

Thanks, Glenn

Remove selector switch, connect hoses directly to fuel tank instead

Temple selector? Is that the selector switch? Do I just eliminate it and connect hose directly to the tank?

Is it really that simple?

Auto correct working there. But yes. Straight bypass selector switch and make sure tank is good

For the fuel gauge to work, still have to set correct tank or disconnect the wires and splice to the remaining tank

Unplug the switch and cap the LH fuel lines.
You can reverse it if you or the next owner wants it back.
