Does anyone know of lightweight wheels in 17inch 6x5.5 lug pattern. A buddy and me are trying to get his 07 denali in the 12s in the quarter. He is close but he is running a 22. We want to run a 17x9. Help??

Not sure if they make what you're looking for or not, but replying only due to the fact that 15-16" rims would likely be a much better choice for a set of slicks at the track.

We haven't tried a 16 on it yet but he really doesn't think they will fit.
I know it wont fit the front

I do believe you are right in the fact that he needs at least 17's for the back.

I would suggest going to Summit's web site and sorting by the specs you want and looking at each wheels weight. Time consuming yes, but it's the best way.

I have a set of Enkei wheels that would bolt right up, but they are only 17x7. They are pretty light, 20 lbs. per wheel. They need to be refinished.

The problem is he will be running 600+ rwhp. I don't know if a 17x7 will be wide enough for the width tire he will need.
