NO clue what's going on. All his settings seem to be just fine. Registered group and Full Access Member Selected as it all should be.

Do all photo attachment posts need moderator approval now? @HotRodPC @Old77 @bucket @animal

This is the first time I have uploaded photos since the "upgrade", and also the first time I have ever needed moderator approval on any photo upload.

I mean, we all want to see the p0rn, let me post up some p0rn...lol...
One thing I do notice different about you other than other members, you don't have the Full Access Member banner under your ID like everyone else does. I wonder if it's cuz your quote is to long so it wipes your banner out and then thinks you're not a Full Access Member. You are in fact selected a Full Access Member so you should have that banner under your ID. Try taking your quote away and let's see if that corrects your problem.

Man! I forgot what it was! Let me try to post up a pic. I saw the pic in my library and had to, HAD TO pick that pic!...lol... I was going to post one of the dogs, but while scrolling, I saw that one and me devious, I couldn't resist. Thanks for looking into it, hopefully we got it figured out.

I don't where you can put your When in doubt, throttle out without it causing a problem though.

It worked fine until the upgrade. That may be why @bucket has had to approve photo uploads by other members, as there were/are others with custom banners.

Possibly. Yesterday I approved pictures for @LateOnTheBrakes who does indeed have a custom title. But I think the previous batch was for @wanderinthru who doesn't have a custom title. It might be that some photos just happen to trigger some kind of no-no sensor that is built into the new version of the site. Not sure.

Today was planned for much more productivity, but life happens. Was gearing up to rearrange the vehicles to change the water pump on the jeep when I saw flooding on the other side of the street. Called the water company and after a lengthy hold period, finally got to tell someone of the situation.

After the parts run got to it.

It fought me but I won.

I need to get pics of the ignition set, it's a nice one from live wire. I didn't have time to pull the plugs and re-gap them, but with this setup you can supposedly gap them 0.060. With the stock gaps it already runs smoother.

The reason for the water pump change, the lousy bearing was failing. It would chirp on cold starts and then quiet down once warmed up. I didn't want it failing and causing all kinds of damage. I decided to get a #42004 from napa, the bearing felt perfect, although when swapping over the heater hose tube to the new pump, the old pump's bearing felt like the new one, and there wasn't any slop. On initial startup the bearing chirped like the old one did. I thought I had done the work for no reason, perhaps it was the alternator bearing chirping. Let it warm up with heater on hot, and once it got to 200 I turned it off to let the system draw in coolant from the overflow bottle. Yesterday when I started it, no chirping, just a little belt squeal, but I had got the belt wet with water. The belt squeal was short lived, and now I have normal sounding jeep on cold starts, and it seems to run a little better with the hotter ignition.

This is Jeep's before, the relay kit and h4's are still in the box. Won't be able to get to either vehicle today, have prior arrangements.

The camera definitely filters out the extra light being generated above the main beams. These are brighter than the truck's, but it's also got 10 year's younger wiring.

The chirping issue you say could be caused by belt pilling in a serpentine especially. if you have a old tensioner, consider a new one., if its good, make sure the travel of the belt is in the center of the tensioner swing
also, that glazed pulley is it plastic? if its plastic, try a new pulley, they are known to do that if they get a glaze. also if you have a gm ps pump, push in and pull out on the shaft and make sure it has normal end play but it doesnt have wobbly ness on the bushing/bearing(depending on which style pump)

belt pilling takes a lot of time using a scribe or heavy duty slag wire brush for welding to clean each groove of the pullies out and then putting a new belt on once cleaning up the mess with a degreaser

It's the water pump bearing. The quality control is next to nothing nowadays. The one I replaced recently, I had to have the store get three to compare before I found one that would rotate with minimal effort, and even that one was too stiff for my liking. It lasted just over a year. The chirping only happened when it was cold outside, and once the engine warmed up the chirping went away. Squealy belts don't stop squealing. New water pump, same belt, no more chirp.

I like this for the fact, no noise....not that you had to get so damn many bad ones!!!!!

It's crazy. When I replaced the original one back in 05, I was getting them from the dealer, figured it would be better quality, and ended replacing three, and eventually just got one from Carquest, and that one lasted until last year. The new Carquest water pumps are not of the same quality. The one I just replaced is from Napa, and it did chirp at first, but stopped, and the belt is not overly tight or too loose. I tighten the belt to the point it won't squeal while running all the accessories with the high beams on.
