I own a 84 GMC short wheel base truck with power windows. On the passenger door when I put the window up the glass tilts out of track and have to hold it in with my hand. My body man tried multiple times and could not correct problem. New electric motor and widow rubber have been installed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'd say either the track is bent allowing that to happen, or he must not be getting the glass inside the track properly. Also check your regulator arms, and make sure all the bolts are in for the regulator & the track.

I just went thru the same issue with new seals. I had installed the seals before the glass. You need to install the seals with the glass installed.

I ended up loosening each track and pulling out the seal on the vent window track.....not all of it, just the bit inside the door.

With the window all the way down, spray some lube on the seal and push it in the track ensuring the glass stays in between the seal. Make sure they are all the way in the channel.

Then tighten up the tracks.

Also I had one of the tracks in the incorrect hole in the door which didn't help matters.
