Don't be so sure it's the Gov Lok. @89Suburban had a Burb with a G80 and his had a Limited Slip what appeared to be an Eaton unit. Maybe it was replaced at one time? But it seems someone else had G80 SPID label in a later model Burb and it too was a Limited Slip. Only way to know for certain is to remove the rear cover and ID it.Look inside the glove box, at the SPID, tell me if you see a code that says "G80"
If you do, congrats, you're an owner of the corporate low speed posi traction.
