Ok here is what happen i have a set of good BFG 33x12.50x16.5 MT with about 75%..was not concerned about tires this..BUT a medical pick up service pulled to close to Chubs and cut the heck out of my sidewalls facing the street.I was under the dash when i felt the whole truck move, the look on the guys face..he said ' where did you come from ' from under the dash of the truck you just hit.Hell in 20 mins they had everyone out there looking and the big gash..So the agreed to replace the tires...lol..but there are no BFG's..

SO any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
ps if i had not spent a pretty penny get the wide white 16.5 steelies from GMC id be trying to figure out a way to go 17/18 in rim.

Interco tire is the only one that still makes that size I believe.

There's still a couple other lesser known brands out there. I was looking several months ago and found a couple.

If you like your steel wheels why not just find some 16" wheels?

I changed over to 17" rims when I got my lat set of MT.
At that time (3 years ago), BFG still made the all terrains in the 16.5" size.
The only choice I found was to go to the all terrain or go to 17" wheels.
I was so upset as all my '85 has ever worn was 16.5" BFG MT. :bawl:
