I’ve seen lot’s of pics and threads on here of people running 16” wheels but I am still unsure of some of the differences between the 10/20/30 series.

Do 16” wheels clear the brake drums and calipers on a K30?

Just deciding what size wheels to get and the selection of tyres in a suitable size seem to be more readily available for 16” wheels compared to 17”.

Thanks.

I was going to say yes, and @legopnuematic beat me to it.

I was looking at mine (c20) and noticed it's snug, but they fit just fine.

I’m running 16” wheels on my ‘83 C30. They clear just fine. Should be exactly the same on a K30.

Be sure the offset is correct for the truck. Lately, it seems like there are tons of people having issues with new wheels not fitting these older trucks correctly and most of the time it's related to offset.

I'm surprised there's better selection of 16" than 17" tires over there. It's the opposite here.

But yeah, 16's were the stock size for most.
