Diy4x shackle flip help

Truck has 56” springs, shackle flip is in the stock 1 ton shackle holes. I think I have the brackets on the wrong side. What do you all think.

keep in mind there is no weight on the springs at the moment.

You see them both ways because they are reversible based on if you have 52 or 56 “ springs

Appears I am a dumb ass and you are correct. Next time maybe I will read you have 56" springs. Read they are supposed to flip sides for the 56" springs.

So you should have done one facing forward and the other one facing back and THEN you would have 50/50 success ratio!

Once you get it happy and driving you will love it!

I can understand the whole length thing but why do you see some where the shackle itself angles backwards and some forwards?

By that I mean the bottom is forward or back in relationship to the top of the shackle.

I would assume the axle is meant to go up and back not forwards.

So has anyone out there made their own flip brackets? They don't look too complicated, just a few bucks in steel and a little welding. I definatly want to go with shackle flips vs blocks when I lift my shortbed.

I guess I phrased that wrong, I was wondering if anyone on this forum has made their own, but thanks for the video! I may have to add this to my to do list for this winter
