Looking to get a intake, 2 barrel carb, and some LT headers. Can anyone tell me if it's possible with my inline 6 it's a 1978. I know some heads you can't modify.

If its an intregrated cylinder head (intake is cast with the cylinder head) no you cant. But you can switch the 250ci cylinder head to a 292ci cylinder head, intake & exhaust manifolds and go from there.

I have a '79 with the intregrated head......

Hope this helps

I have two long blocks and the one in my truck, all have separate intakes. Offinhouser and Clifford both make intakes, Langston makes what look like nice iron headers.

Positively not an integral in the picture, they look so different. The Op's looks just like my '78 292.
I would love to change my intake to I could put a TBI system on it. I've been looking at building a programming one, but I have to change the intake. Don't want to go with a Clifford because I would rather keep an OEM exhaust manifold. Just waiting for the right one (and $) to come along.
