DANA 70 vs 14 Bolt Drum brakes and U Joint sizes.

Good evening everyone. I'm swapping from the 14 bolt c&c narrow rear out of my c&c r3500 to a dana 70 from a c30. What's the deal with the rear drum brakes? Are they the same between the 14bolt and d70? Also the u joints, are they the same between the two axles?

I believe that the brakes are 13 x 3.5 & 1350 series joint for each rear. It may not be a terrible swap.

If the 14 bolt was a dually axle I’m 99% sure the brakes are the same, bearing hubs too. As stated the ujoints are the same, 1350.

Also, when you’re looking for parts the square bodies used a D70HD which is different from other 70’s (bigger housing, bigger bearings at the diff and it’s considerably wider).

I was almost sure that they were. The hubs, backplates and hardware, and drums all looked the same and the parts online only say DRW so they seem like a one size fits all setup.
