Crisp, clear pic of a square's fuseblock for those looking for same.....

All 4 of our squares in my driveway have washed out/faded/worn off lettering on the fuseblocks, and internet searches for a decent pic were fruitless.
Thanks to a fellow member of this wonderful site sending me a harness I need for my 83, the fuseblock is pristine and nicer than any I think I have ever seen.

You're welcome, sir ...... seeing as how the fuseblock lives in a dark corner and having a bad angle to lay on the floorboard to see it, I figured this would be handy for many folks like myself.

That's helpful, but I gotta bust your balls for saying that's a "crisp and clear" picture, seeing as it's blurry and out of focus [emoji23]

Try it again, but tap on your screen in the area of the middle of the fuses, and it should force it to focus and it'll come out crisp

Two things, ...... you should have seen how bad the pic was from my phone's camera, so friend took the pic with his and his hands would not stop shaking.
Will try it again to see if the quality will improve.
And compared to how badly readable the average fuseblock is after 30 some odd years, it's still a LOT better ............

Funny thing there, is when I was looking for diagrams prior to that lovely fuse block photo,quite a bit of trouble finding the correct layout. Wonder if it had to do with being on mobile versus my laptop. But I doubt it changed too insanely far. May be a few slight changes, But from what I have been learning, General Motors, if its a common item, they seem to modify it to fit the situation.

But to satisfy my own curiousity. Just the digging I have done now, '79, and '84 seem to use identical, and I know they had slight changes since they moved the high beam onto the column. But thats wires being moved, no need to redo the block there. Even '87. Year One of Throttle Body Injection, seems to have the same fuse block, gathering wool here, but I suspect that was a case, the basic computer for that needed a fused power lead, and a ground, before the leads went to the pile of confusion on the engine.

79 and older, i thought, maybe its 78, use glass fuses. I can show a pic of two of them from squares if youd like.

Actually.. my other fuse block isnt glass its blade. Its in my field atm so ill have to get it later. attached to a column. but its from a 79 or 8(whatever year the horizontal turn side lamps are)+
