Anyone build one of these? I cut 14 inches out of the middle to make it a shortbed. Trying to figure out how I want to go with a driveshaft. Original one was a 2 piece but truck was a 2wd. Now has overdrive, NP208 so thought I could use a 1 piece but that makes it 75 1/4 long. Seems like that too long for a 1 piece.

Anyhow just wondering how others crossed this bridge.

Thanks

I would re-use the two piece and just shorten the first piece that goes from the T-case to the center bearing. A long bed 4x4 one piece is only about 56" long. A 75" 1 piece would be very hard to get balanced enough to not vibrate itself to death

Yup, 75 is too long. 63-64 is about the limit on a 1-piece.

Why didn't you just move the springs forward, and shackle reverse bracket? Cut the tails off..
