I handed a pile of that kinds of stuff over to the local law enforcement, they passed it along to the FBI.
Pass Your info over to the FBI if You have a local agent, otherwise pass it over to Your local law enforcement, they`ll go after them,I think.
Nope,I will not text nor call them, then they`ll have My number too.

Some A-hole tried this on me on EBay. They sent Money-gram money orders. $3200 for $800 Camaro. They were a member of EBay for 10 minutes. In the countless number of Emails they told me " You will die a thousand deaths!". They will kill my family etc,,,,,. Local law would not pass the info to the SBI, or FBI. At least it cost them $5 to send the money orders from over seas.

Yeah any chance you get, make them spend some of their money before letting them know that you know it's a scam. If enough people would do that it might make a difference. Had a guy trying to pull a similar scam, supposedly military stationed in Alaska wanting to arrange shipment of a vehicle. I knew it was a scam but he wasn't willing to go as far as spend anything first though so I had to bust his bubble.

It seems like every time I post something on craigslist the first 4 or 5 responses that don't end up in the spam folder are always scam attempts. I only respond to emails until I'm sure about them, only accept cash and only have face to face transactions.

Like 1 example above, they sent a $3200 Money order for an $800 Camera. They expect you to cash the check, keep an extra bit for yourself and give the rest to the shipper or Western Union any overage back to them and of course you've shipped the item too. Then about 10 days later you'll find out the check was fake and you now owe a bank or financial institution $3200 and you've also shipped your item off and lost it too. Simply don't fall for the ****. That simple. One of those deals, if it's to good to be true, IT IS.

I realize this is a little old but....

That phone number could be spoofed. If you call it you may be getting someone else.
The address in the OP is a house that was for sale on the 'net and I bet they just found that listing and used the address. It's probably vacant and they can monitor the mail and/or be there when the courier comes by. That's why he wanted to know exactly when you were going to wire the money.

Here is the listing to the house
http://www.texashomesforsale.com/sa...Goodrich,-San-Antonio,-TX-78201/930028/photos

When I googled "jonathan landrum" + "san Antonio" I got the same listing for the house....I couldn't find his name on the page, but I didn't look very hard either.

Tracking the fed ex number, it was shipped out from San Antonio. So it looks like our scammer is from San Antonio.

Be wary about getting this **** from non-US phone numbers, I got these fuckers calling my work from Jamaica of all places harassing a IL resident. Now some of the people who live where I work have TONS of money, but they don't need to be giving it away to low lifes robbing seniors.

state for business trip. You will receive the payment from USPS or
FedEx with the shipping funds. to cover the shipment of the goods
bought. Once you receive the check, have it cashed and deduct your
money for the goods and send the remaining funds to my mover My mover
is also picking some of other valuable goods (like household,
furniture's and electronics set.) at the same city of your location,to
my new apartment.that is reason you need to transfer the amount to my
mover.Deduct $50 for your running around that I have caused you during
the transaction period. Please let me know if i can trust you, so that
i can move forward from here.I will get back to you with tracking
number.

My answer back:

Well now that you mention it, that really is going to be a lot of running around. Do you think you could make it $150 extra for my troubles? Gas prices make life very difficult when traveling is involved.

Also, I just unboxed a couple of the items, and they smell sort of funny. That is going to cost you an additional $50. This brings the complete total to $987.00. Please let me know.

-Jason

I would like to thank you for sending the funds to our FBI field office in Orlando Florida. I imagine that they will find everything you have just told me very interesting. I hope that they find you and all of those filthy thieves like you, and put you behind bars. It is a disgusting thing that you and those like you are doing. You are filthy, dirty thieves. I hope that whatever god you may follow punishes you for all eternity for the harm that you have caused others. I just hope that my little game wasted even a small amount of your time, preventing you from harming yet another poor individual. May you rot in whatever hell you believe in,

Jason Dipper - like that is actually my real name...
