He had 28 offers including mine... just decided to "buy it now" they don't come up very often. I just got an email from him saying he is out of town and can't ship it till next Monday! WTF.

What do you fellas think about this? Would kill 2 birds with one stone for me. A CB and a cassette deck. Are these 4 channel out or 2? Could I adapt this to run an amp? Or would I be better off getting a good pioneer and a good vintage CB?

The back of this plug looks similar to the AM/FM/Cass in my '85. So probably a 4 channel. Don't know what the other 2 wires are for though.

@hunters628 The one disadvantage I see may be you cannot have both CB and radio at the same time. Cruising down the highway you got your tunes playing, but not having the CB on you would not catch any road chatter about accidents or other road hazards up ahead.

I didn’t even think about that! Very good point. I guess I will just wait for the euro to dollar exchange rate to change in my favor and snag that NOS pioneer unit. Thanks again!

IIRC, in the MON position, you can have music and it will be interrupted by transmissions, dependent on squelch setting.
