Car rotisserie

I'm looking to get a rotisserie for doing one of my Monza's. Found one that Eastwood has that is a 3000 lb rated, anyone have something like this that might know the pro's and con's of rotisseries? My Monza is a unibody and without the motor/trans weighs around 2000 lbs.

Going to paint it this year, also need to turn it half way around to mod the front and rear suspension and add sub-frame connectors.

A guy I used to work with built one for his '56 Chevy. Said it came in really handy. I know nothing about the commercially built ones.

It's one of those tools that is a game changer. One problem is that after using it, you will wonder why you didn't get one sooner.

Another option I might do is build a chassis table tall enough that I could sit up under it like I did with my tube chassis vega I built. Actually fairly cheap to build one out of square tube using all-thread as adjustment jacks on the feet and same on the top for the pads that go under the body to support it, that way you can keep everything level or adjust before welding to square it up from tweakage over the years.

This is awesome! All the technical stuff is already figured out. Simply buy your steel, then cut, drill and weld following the instructions! The hardest part is probably grinding mill scale and prepping for weld, lol.

Nice, thanks for the link trukman1! Almost afraid to look at the other stuff they have, tend to get myself way too many projects started then never have time to finish them, lol.
