Can't get my vent windows out

Everyone:

So after fighting with my window felt for over a week now, it looks to me as though I just need to pull my vent windows, put the felt channel in, and then reinstall. I've looked through youtube, watched the Brothers video on vent window removal, but I still can't get it out. The video shows three screws holding it in, I only have two, locations marked with tape. Anyone know what I'm missing here, as well as how to loosen the main window, to slide it back a little bit? I thought that might give me some more room.

Next, I'm stuck on my rear doors, too. You can see (sort of) that I got the felt all the way down the rear channel, since there's a hole in the door where you can get some needlenose in there to pull down. However, I'm stuck, at the front of the rear doors. Can I loosen the main window and/or pull out the small window? If so, where are the bolts for the main window, so I can I do that? I've read everything I can find, on lubing up the felt so you don't have to do this, but have had zero luck, so far.

You don't need to remove the vent window. Spray the hell out of everything with soapy water and if you still can't get it through, loosen the small bolts that hold the angled window channel and let the window slide away from the front track. Once the window isn't pressed tight against the front track anymore, you will have no problem sliding the felt in. Once the new felt is all installed, you will need to properly adjust the rear track again or else the window won't roll up/down correctly anymore.

Yeah, what he said... If you are only replacing the felts, you shouldn't have to remove the vent window. Are you sure you've removed all the felts from the channel down in the door?

As to vent window removal (your first question), It looks like you tagged the two screws on the outer perimeter of the door, but there is another bolt in the inner door panel as well if I recall correctly. I don't have a pic but have a look. You'll know when you have the window loose, because it will flop around in the door right away.

That's a great thread you linked to, Eric, thank you. I hadn't run across that one.

Ok, so this makes sense for the front doors. Can I basically do the same thing on the rear doors, or is there a different procedure, since the side that sticks on those doors is the reverse of the front doors (if that makes sense).
