Guessing this is primer where the toolbox was and there are a couple holes on each side that bolted it in.

This is the underside on the passenger side from the front of the bed looking back. This is what the entire underside looks like. Even the cab was this clean.

No major dents, heck I don't think there are even any minor dents. Paint is eh but if you're repainting that's no biggie I suppose. I no longer have the tailgate, got an offer on it a couple weeks ago. I'd let the took box go with it for $400.

Sorry, I was gone a lot last week. I'll be home today and will get pics.

That’s a very fair price for that bed and box

I bet I couldn't get that here for it. It would be worth more as scrap because there are so many. It's crazy.

I bought an 84 c10 that im completely redoing. My box is repairable not completely shot but would need two bed sides, tail gate, possibly a floor instead of messing around doing patch jobs. I live in Michigan so finding a good long box with no rust isn't possible. If you find one someone wants 1500 to 2000. Then you still need to strip down and spend a few weeks getting it perfect. I was wondering if its possible to just buy everything from lmc and assembly a brand new bed. Has anyone ever done this? Or will it like crap?
I feel your pain over here in PA, my box is roached too.

I agree with @Scott91370 yes, you can build a new bed. All the pieces are available thru different vendors (Truck Shop seems to have the best price)
But it will cost you a small fortune. Shop around for a used one, they’re still around and I’ve seen some in great shape. Check Craigslist etc. there’s a guy on Indianapolis CR that has California C-10 Parts..cabs and beds.
I see his add all the time but i feel hed want an arm n a leg n your left nut for a good one.

It’s all relative.. new bed panels will Cost over $3,000 and some guys think that Scott91370’s bed at $400 is too much.

I'd grab the one in Texas for $400 quick, fast and in a hurry. But, that's me. Hell since he has plenty on money call uship and have them bring it to ya and you're still under 1k.

As of right now no but as soon as I get the shortbed done I will. I just want to make sure I have everything to finish my truck before selling the 'parts' truck.
Shoot me a PM with what you're looking for and I'm sure we can work something out.

I don't have an answer for you, but if you do go the LMC route please keep us updated! I'm curious about the quality of their new Goodmark replacement parts and might consider them for repairing my shortbed.

The Tailgates and front bed panels that LMC sells (triplus for the gate and LMC branded for header) are both of very high quality. Heavy, crisp lines that match the original.
