Anyone got the full billet grill up front? Not the phantom series that covers the headlights but the one that just replaces the grille. Thinking of ordering one!

This stuff is said to be Winchester PDX1 ammo. FBI or LEO Overrun plain white box. I carry 2 spare 15rd mags, and a 13rd in the gun with 1 chambered. If I can't get it done with 44 rounds, then I couldn't get it done !!!

haha damn!

While we are bullshitting, what do you think a goodmark steel cowl hood would look like on my C20?

I just ordered a billet grille off of summit for 130 instead of 200 on lmc. and its supposed to be very good quality also

You get a cowl hood then you'll need to add a supercharger to take up that additional space. Otherwise, you'll catch hell for being all show, no go.

He could always flip the air cleaner lid over and stack up 2 or 3 more air filters to make it look legit.

Yep, that'll do it. Just get a piece of all thread and cut it down for the wing nut stud. I did it on the 64 GMC. I had I thnk 2 3in filters since I had room. Maybe 2 4 inch tall filters. Worked good. But, I do like the stock OEM look on 1lows 3/4 ton. I think I'd leave it alone honestly if it were me. Gonna be a badass truck with a 4L80-E.

I think a cowl hood would look out of place with the stock wheels and tires. Some fatter tires with outlined white letters would help... if you even like white lettered tires.

Kinda what I was thinking too. But that truck is so clean and unmolested.... I'd sure try to leave it stock as possible. Other than the trans upgrade which is very worthy being the truck was made when Speed Limits were 55mph.

I guess that's one reason why in the 60's people bought trucks to be used as trucks, not daily drivers. Even half tons were geared low like 3.90's and 4.11's. Most 3/4 tons were geared with 4.56's. And these are Non OD transmissions when the speed limits were 70 and 75 like they are today. Bad on gas, and slow on the highway.

Yup, mine came with 4.11's and was low optioned, no A/C, non tilt, single tank, single speaker. But it WAS optioned with a locker. Im sure mine was optioned to pull **** and not get stuck doing it.

lol, i got it up to 110 a couple of times just cause, and it was screaming pretty good lol.
