Why a topper on a fleetside? Just leave it stepside, you can get a Tonneau or even a topper for stepside.

I have six hunting dogs that i take to the field for others to hunt birds over.I usually take three per day. This will allow lots of room.. I am sick of wet dogs in my cab. I'm going to set this up to haul my dogs, safe under a topper. Out of weather and still able to carry bags of food and other supplies for them.

I have one, 30$ plus shipping and it's yours. Still has the factory hardware and the Lund badge. It's been installed and painted, but it's in really good condition.

I have liked them in the past on newer model trucks.

There is actually a few variations of visors for these trucks. The one variation looks silly.. The reason the "Lund" version looks funny for is when you look at it straight on it has this weird reverse "V" happening and it ruins the lines.

I prefer the other variation as it flows better.

The one style looks like this:

I have always hated the Lund visors as well. I had the second one from above on my 77 when I was a teenager. There is a 3rd profile that a friend had on his truck - I cant find a picture of it.

Here is my '77. Pictures taken in 1994. I would love to have it back - last I saw of it was listed in an AutoTrader in Brandon Manitoba in about 1999. :)

They're just one of those things. You either love'm or your hate'm. There's not much in between. As said, I love what they do from inside the truck, I just hate the way they look. Makes a truck look grandpaish to me. Kinda like those full lenght running boards. I don't like those either. Steps are fine, but running boards, I don't like'm. That's just me though. We're all entitled to what we like on our trucks. Just like women, some like to rattle their bones, some like'm thick, some like'm with tiggo bits and some are hurray for little *******. I'm just glad everyone doesn't like everything I do and vice versa.

My truck has what is believed to be factory (maybe) running boards only to the end of the cab. 2wd low in the front they really suck to slide under the truck, they were gunna be the first thing to be removed but after so many motor and trans changes and standing on them to watch the carb theyve grown on me. Great for holding tools, beer and the portable speaker when working under the truck, plus grabbing them and pulling makes getting out from under easy. I hate how they promote rust though. If this was 4wd theyda been gone!
