Cab Light/Headlight Switch

I pulled the Headlight knob out of the Headlight switch and had to replace it. Now I replaced it and got the headlights working again but the cab light wont turn off now. Ive tried turning it left and right but nothing turns it off. Anyone know what im doing wrong or how I can fix it?

the dome light or the floor light? or the top of the cab running lights? or the cargo lamp to the bed?

Replaced the knob or the entire switch?

I replaced the entire switch. Kept the old knob it still works

do you have a floor lamp under your dash too?

Sorry if this is obvious- but I've got to ask. When you are trying to turn it off by twisting the knob- you do have your door closed- correct?

turned all the way left- is on & it just takes a small turn towards the right to turn off
