I bought a cheap(new) limited slip and used factory gear set off of eBay for mine.Horrible I know but I'm not spending a ton of money on a 10 bolt in my bucket of rust. Not a ton of miles yet but it pulls both tires hard.

How bad is this? I am in the process of swapping a manual into my CUCV K30 and I'm wondering if I will end up hating the Detroit locker.
You will hate it and so will the transmission. Speaking from experience.

What did you dislike so bad and what did you expect?
The constant slamming thru the drivetrain when turning. It was actually difficult to shift in turns because of the locking and unlocking of the differential. It wasn't noticeable when I had the automatic. I didn't know what to expect, I never had a locker before.
