Looking to put a modern driveline in my 85 c10. Truck is a single cab long bed with 250i6/th350. Looking to improve this as my daily driver. Was looking for opinions on the Turnkey packages available to simplify the swap. Specifically the link below. Would I be able to run the electronic gauge cluster and the new steering column in the truck?

That seems massively expensive, just to get started, not to mention the additional costs on top.

Do it. Take lots of pictures and post them here.

There will be challenges. Fuel tank, gauge cluster, and steering column will probably be the hardest.

I think its a little misleading to call this swap a "turnkey" system for a 1985 vehicle. There will still be a lot of additional parts needed and a lot of work to adapt it to your truck. Its not a bad choice of drivetrain, but don't be mislead and think it will be relatively simple.

If you just want something simple and straighforward for an upgrade, swapping in a late 90's 350 roller with good heads and a 4L60E would be quite a bit easier. You could use either carburetor or throttle body EFI (Holley, FAST, etc.) and would only need to add a controller for the 4L60E.

That would be expensive and it's setup for 4x4. If you have a c10, the transfer case would be extra. Also the back of the trans is setup differently than a 2wd.
Find a wrecked 2wd Chevy pickup and save some money. Steering column should work if you have an automatic now. You will also need a fuel tank setup for fuel injection, sending unit and fuel pump. Cluster from a 90 or 91 suburban or blazer will give you the digital speedo.
I've done this for my 82 k5. LQ9 6.0, 4l65e, np241c. A lot of work but worth it.
