Every type of car ever made has at least a small group of whack jobs that love them. Some of us really like the Chevy Celebrity along with the rest of the GM A-body family.

To an A-body fan, finding a factory manual trans car is like finding a needle in a haystack.

OH ****, was Eurosport Celebrity a manual trans car too? I missed that part. I knew it was the 2.8 V6 model, but missed the manual trans part. And for $750? Oh hell yes. And in that condition. It didn't look bad at all. Looked like it was missing a piece of the Eurosport molding and about it.

Wow, Damn sure is. Manual Trans A Body, and low ass mileage too. 127K is all? Dayum !!! Replace that rack and pinion, fix the AC and clean it up, that would be a great car. I bet he'd take $600 for it too.

Mann !!! And it's even got a factory tach where the P RND21 Auto trans selector goes. Very rare indeed.

While uncommon, that tach actually isn't all that rare on the console-equipped cars. But yep, that car has all the cool options and is a steal of a price!

For those conversion packages, the mark up is unreal. If he was dumb enough to pay it, he damn sure might. I kid you not, they mark those packages up like $20-$25K and they dealer pays maybe $5000 for it. I sold a Conversion once with a $18,000 gross profit and a net profit after expenses of like $15,900, and they made money off the financing and warranty too. I gotta a biggo fat check for that sale.

Oh yeah. I never thought of that. So it prolly was common in the Eurosport models even if they were automatic trans.

It was available in '86-'88... if I had to guess, maybe every one in twenty bucket seat cars had one? I've seen them in non-Eurosports too.

Huh, here's another set. Maybe I'm just losing my memory.

http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/4791384614.html

1) I want whatever that guy's on, if he thinks that pile is worth $2900
2) those are the first of that style t-top for that body I've seen too. I wonder if it was a dealer conversion or something. They remind me of the old corvette style, the way the glass from each side meets.
