So the eBay auction ended without any bids. I contacted the seller about his price and he has come down a bit....

2 things holding me back on this deal:

Is the 350 suitable for a 3/4T Burb...will it leave me wanting more?

TH400 trans: no OD? Shouldn't that be a 700R4 in a '90?

No. They weren't fully vested in the OD yet. That 350 is the strongest to that time, w/ TBI. It will run good. Not a highway cruiser at today's speeds, though. Both are easily upgradeable. Why worry?

Both the 400 and 700 were available that year. 1991 along came the 4L80E.

Only way you could get a 4x4 burb was with the 350 or diesel.
