I'm with you hrpc, I think it's the wheels, looks like they're painted black on the edges. And the tires are too big for no lift IMO.

I think you're right. I actually kinda like the wheels, but not on that truck. the 2 color wheel on a 2 color truck maybe? Or like you said, maybe no lift. Something about it just isn't right.

The tires wouldn't be so bad if the white letters were out. It would help break up all that black. That's the problem, as if the green and brown weren't enough, then he went and added all that black.

This was the "in" thing to do back in the late '80s. You weren't one of the cool kids if you didn't chop the top off of your pickup. In fact Dodge even made a convertible Dakota.
