I would agree with that part which is why I went with a charcoal gray/black color for mine. is started out as baby blue :puke: I would probably change interior color of this lowered blue one in question if it was mine.

Totally agree. I've had five vehicles and four of them had charcoal interiors, the only oddball is my '85...it's got that nasty maroon in it. :yucky:

If I could afford the truck, and had the room, I'd be willing to go up to about roughly $10K. That seems to be my self imposed limit on these older vehicles.

Personally, I'd rather have the stripped Custom Deluxe trim over the Silverado. No carpet. No headliner. Hard plastic half door-door panels.

Most people fail to forget that mods don't bring the value of the vehicle up. Sure, a built drive train will probably get more money from someone like me, but, bags, systems, and custom graphics do nothing to help the value.

Sadly, that is the reality I face with my S10. I've got $7K into the motor, alone, and I'll never get that back.

My father-in-laws 94 has a maroon interior in it and the outside is red. It's not my favorite combo by far!! IMO, the inside should contrast from the outside and maroon/red or blue/lighter blue is not enough contrast.

Interiors should be black only. Or at least black should be the dominant color in any interior. My Lumina had light gray interior. It wasn't quite that color when I got rid of the car. My Nova's interior is roughly the color of a 'Nilla wafer.

I did put a blue seat cover in my '05 Silverado, but, I was more interested in saving the factory interior than what the actual cover looked like.

I had a two tone black/tan 94 and it had a tan interior which wasn't bad. My two tone red/silver 95 had a grey interior which wasn't bad either but I largely drift towards the darker interiors as well. For one thing, they're easier to keep looking clean because black carpet doesn't show stains nearly as bad!! :) My wife's maroon burb has a tan interior and I'm constantly fighting that thing because of the light carpet color.

In a 4x4 the basic interior is invaluable! After a trip through mud or snow or actually using a truck you can just hose out your floor board, I love that!

I agree with that for sure. but you can even put the vinly floor in a 4x4 Silverado, and that's what I intend to do with mine. It currenly has carpet, but a 4x4 shouldn't have carpet. Not one that wil be used for off road anyway.

I agree about the no carpet thing on trucks what are actually getting used to work out of but I don't see that happening with the '77. :) But on any other truck that spends any time out on the job site or in the mud some kind of floor you can just wash out with a hose is the only way to go! :)

I agree, MOST trucks should not have carpet. The newer nice trucks I had, loaded, leather, adjustable pedals and all that crap, I'll go with carpet, but for a work or offoad truck, no carpet.

The 09 super duty my father in law got a while ago came from the dealer with rubber floor, lift, 20 inch wheels and some aggressive mud tires. Power to tow, with some mods you get awesome mileage, room for kids and car seats and a very attractive and practical interior. still not worth that payment.

I definitely would NOT want that payment. When my current DD is done I've thought about getting a new Silverado W/T Crew Cab (with rubber flooring) with the only options being CD player, cruise and A/C. That way I can get a new truck but not worry about the kids getting in with muddy shoes or spilling drinks on the floor. I don't do any off roading or hunting so I mainly worry about muddy shoes or salt in the snowy months.

My Sierra has carpets. If I had a truck near by to swap with, I'd put rubber floors in it in a heart beat. That truck won't see any more aggressive off roading other than parking on my lawn.

The ad's look good. Especially that GMC tailgate, I was told those are hard to find with the Gmc logo and in good shape.
