It just sits there mocking me...

He must not have a title to it.
Yep, when they say runs and drives but great for parts, either the floor pan is gone or the title is missing, or they bought it long ago and didn't trasfer title it. Or you get one of those, yeah I have the title and then you get there and its signed, and re assigned so it has to be brouht up in the reassigneds name first with penalties, and it might be hard to find that guy cuz its my next door neighbors, brothers, best friends girlfriends dads ex wifes father who I got it from, and I think he might have died a couple months back. Fugg all that !!! I buy'em and Title 42 those ones. $50 and 6-8 weeks, you're the new owner. Thats my hold up on the 88 Burb I bought for $50.

I can't stand people who can't post a pic.

I'm with you man! If you wanna sell something bad enough post a friggin pic! I never respond to an ad that doesn't have a pic in it cuz I just assume it's a waste of my time.

Yeah, I could get a bonded title for it if that's the case. I had to do that with my li'l Blazer.

Or I have a buddy who's mom is a CPA and notary, she'd get it straight.

My problem is, I'm about $800 short.

I would like to get a little more than $800 for the li'l Blazer or it would be on CL for that now.

As it is, it's on there for $2250 if I fix it's minor problems and leave the hi-Lift and Optima in it. $2000 if I fix it and take out the Hi-Lift and optima and $1750 as-is with no Hi-Lift or Optima.

No bites though and I'm not in a hurry to sell.

That looks pretty solid. Surprised you haven't had any bites yet.

My 93 was pretty good and treated me well so I think it all depends on the previous owner. I bought a brand new 2003 Blazer Xtreme way back then and the quality of that just wasn't there so I would not buy another one of those or that generation of S10. It was too "plasticy" and just wasn't nearly as solid as the square S-10's were.

If not, would it be hard for you to get one for it? $1200 is pretty cheap and that Jimmy looks awfully rust free to me :)

Yeah, I think I'd be putting on my dress, my earings, wiggling my ass for a little extra money to get that K5 if I were a dragster. I am suprised the thing isn't gone already. Kinda makes me wonder what's the story in it?? Maybe its just the title issue? I dunno, but title issues don't bother me if its not stolen or has a lein on it. Being a process server/pi , get little perks like being able to get vehicle data from the tag offices, and change of address info from the Post Office etc, so I check the ownership before I pay them the cash and haul it off. I damn sure don't want anything to do with a stolen vehicle.
