And original AM Radio. Not a bad project for $1500. It's still a 4 door, but...

If it were a 2 door Impala or Bel Air it would be at least $3000 in that condition.

I would actually say more like 5k-7k on the low end :throw:

While not particularly desirable, I bet you can count on two hands how many 3 speed B bodies came with A/C in 1966, especially a Caprice.

Wouldn't be a 4L60E truck, should be a 700r4 truck.

Yeah, the 91 Burb should be a quick mover at $1500.

To bad about that paint scheme.

Oh no doubt on he Caprice and AC. AC alone was not real popular back then. Usually only the bit more upper middle class got AC in cars, and to find a gear shifter with it is even more rare I know. Being a gear shifter I'm surprised it's not a 230 I6, but I'd imagine that happened due to the AC option. I don't recall ever seeing OE AC on an I6 in the mid 60's. I'm sure it must exist but be even more rare.

A 283/3 speed on the column 1966 Caprice with factory A/C? Damn!

I've never even heard of a manual trans Caprice. Besides AC, that one also has the uncommon passenger side ash tray.

The guy that sold me the C20 Burb has been trying to sell me 3 '66 Caprice coupes. Two are projects and one is a driver. I've seen the one project car, it's a 327/powerglide bucket seat car. The other one has a big block.

May as well just keep it. You know you'll miss it and need to buy another one before the year is up.
