It probably wasn't. Being wet just makes it look more shiney and the colors stand out better for the pic.

^^this and that's why I'm always very hesitant to even call about a vehicle when it's wet in its pics. A lot of times people will water down their car/truck along with the ground to make the paint look shiney and to hide leaks on the pavement.
